  8. If you like ARQ's functionality but find it a little old-fashioned,
  9. have a look at this! It's a MUIfied rewrite with similar features
  10. (new imagery, ARexx support, keyboard control etc.) and lots of new ones.

  12. New since V1.7: a helluvalot!
  13.  
  14. I wanted to fix all of the remaining datatypes problems for V1.8, but due
  15. to a lot of bugreports enough things had to be changed to justify a release
  16. right now.
  17.  
  18. - ATTENTION everyone who is upgrading:
  19.   if you configure MRQ through the installer
  20.   script, better delete all bracketed tooltypes by
  21.   hand! Seems installer can neither handle them,
  22.   nor disable a tooltype by bracketing it. If
  23.   anyone knows how to write a tooltype without a
  24.   value from an installer script, please mail me!
  25. - bugfix: moving the requester creation code out of
  26.   the actual patch function had broken ARexx
  27.   messaging. Works again; now the command is not
  28.   sent until the entire requester has been set up.
  29.   Seems to play a little smoother. 
  30.   The ARexx message dispatch is now done in
  31.   Forbid() state as it should be.
  32. - bugfix: ReqTools requesters showed garbage in the
  33.   window title if none was defined
  34. - bugfix: AHRG! Broke commandline parsing in the
  35.   last release :(
  36. - bugfix: the fallback to the original
  37.   intuition/ReqTools functions was still broken 
  38. - bugfix: EZREQF_NORETURNKEY didn't work
  39. - bugfix: programs passing a NULL rtReqInfo pointer
  40.   to rtEZRequestA() caused Enforcer hits and
  41.   crashes. This is legal according to the ReqTools
  42.   doc though.
  43. - added RT_Underscore support as quite a few
  44.   programs use it, didn't look too good at all
  45.   before ;-(
  46.   The characters following the underscore become
  47.   underlined in the gadget text and can be used as
  48.   keyboard shortcuts.
  49. - consequential: quite a lot of cleanup in the
  50.   button creation functions
  51. - added RTEZ_DefaultResponse. The default response
  52.   gadget has its text in boldface now, just like in
  53.   ReqTools. Also applies to EasyRequestArgs where
  54.   it is always the leftmost gadget.
  55. - implemented @{"AFTERPATCH" LINK Tooltypes} tooltype
  56. - implemented @{"AVOIDTASKS" LINK Tooltypes} tooltype
  57. - added safety request before quitting MRQ
  58. - added wbstart.library support for @{"AFTERPATCH" Link "ToolTypes"}
  59. - in case of a fatal error in the MUI code MRQ now
  60.   falls back to the original function instead of
  61.   returning an error to the caller.
  62. - improved error checking in the config parser a
  63.   little
  64. - improved the installer script, fixed in some
  65.   places
